Teddy Turnaround data deletion

Instructions for Teddy Turnaround, published by In My Pocket Labs LLC.

Delete data stored on your device

Teddy does not require an account. Website addresses, saved reports, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Teddy keeps no more than 20 saved reports; older reports leave that local history as new reports are saved.

Delete the Teddy Turnaround app to remove all Teddy data stored on your device. In My Pocket Labs cannot remotely access or restore this local data.

Request deletion from In My Pocket Labs

  1. Email privacy@inmypocketlabs.com.
  2. Use the subject Teddy Turnaround data deletion.
  3. Tell us whether you use Android or iPhone and what you want deleted. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

The request covers Teddy support or privacy correspondence and any other Teddy data directly controlled by In My Pocket Labs that we can reasonably identify from the information you provide. It cannot remotely erase data stored only inside the app on your device.

Advertising data

Ad-supported Teddy builds use Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may send Google an IP-derived approximate location, product interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This data is encrypted in transit and is processed by Google rather than stored in a Teddy user account.

Google controls the retention and deletion of that data under Google's Privacy Policy and its My Activity controls. In My Pocket Labs may receive aggregated advertising reports that do not identify a Teddy account or an individual saved report.

What is retained and for how long

  • Local Teddy data remains on your device until it leaves the 20-report local history or you delete the app.
  • When a deletion request is complete, we delete the identifiable Teddy data covered by the request. We retain only information that must be kept for an applicable legal or security obligation, and only for as long as that obligation applies.
  • Google-controlled advertising data follows Google's retention schedule and controls linked above.
